Over the Queens birthday long weekend, the hairdressing community let their hair down for 3 days of glitz and glamour at Sydney’s Darling Harbour, featuring the best Australian talent the Hair industry has to offer.

Owner and senior hair stylist of La Bimbi Hair, Gess Mazis, attributes the success of La Bimbi in such a short period of time, to the ambience the salon.

“I think we create a workable, warm environment that makes all our clients feel at ease. We’re the only Canberra salon with water views, so I think that relaxes our clients and creates a unique experience.” 

La Bimbi has only been open for 14 months and has already carved out a niche in the Canberra area, but now has the attention of the entire Australian hair community after winning Best New Salon Design.
